A Royal Weekend @ Rajasthali Resort & Spa

For there are very few places which live up to the expectation they generate on the web. However, I am rather overwhelmed that my latest experience has been very satisfying and delightful. I did considerable research to ensure a royal break over the recently concluded extended weekend and it was during this process that I came across Rajasthali Resort & Spa.

The opulent property is situated much before the main Jaipur city and let me thank the Lord for that. This is a real plus point if one is looking at a relaxing and rejuvenating holiday away from the hustle-bustle of the city. We got premium palace rooms booked for ourselves and were quite happy with what we saw as we got in. The rooms are in excellent shape. I must confess that I absolutely loved the bed in my room- so comforting that it was a task to get me off it. There is much to do within the resort’s vicinity- the fun camel ride, a chance to dip into their pool or relax at their spa. I also loved their lawns, lying on the grass and sometimes doing nothing doesn’t come easily in our very packed-city lives.

The food was good. When in Jaipur, you have to indulge in some serious Laal Maas eating. For those who like the feel of tents, would be impressed with what they have to offer.

As a routine traveler you might want to know if the resort has an electric kettle or a safe in the room- the answer to both is a YES. Also, for those looking for a royal wedding venue, this place deserves consideration!

Here is a peek into some other valuable information:

Sight-seeing I did: Hawa Mahal, Amer Fort

Shopping I did: Skirts and Saris

Market I went to: Bapu Bazar
